如梦初醒 "Now You See Me"
In their words:
“For most of my life, I’ve tried to blend in with the crowd. I was born in China, and naturally followed the conservative and traditional values of my family and culture. There were a lot of fear, anger and hurt associated with my identity. I hid from everyone, even myself for a long time, to avoid being hurt any further. It’s certainly been a journey, and it’s ongoing. I learned to belong to myself, to love the non- binary, queer me, to love my experience as an immigrant, and to heal from the generational trauma that once haunted me.
‘Now you see me’ is a love letter to everyone out there feeling like they didn’t belong, it’s a reminder of our magnificence. It’s magic, created by my friends and I.”
